2008 Grants Update
July 5, 2008Due to a reallocation of funding priorities, the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation will not be soliciting proposals for funding activities through the Ernest F. Hollings Ocean Awareness Trust Fund in this fiscal year, July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. The NMSF does anticipate issuing an RFP for this grants program after July 1, 2009, so please continue to check our web site for updates. June 5, 2008Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2008 (June 3-5) brought together a wide-range of stakeholders to discuss current ocean and coastal issues. Panel speakers included Members of Congress, as well as representatives of the federal and state government, industry, academia, and nonprofits. This year, the symposium focused on the effects of climate change on the oceans.
